Her endearing imperfections make her all the more special, embodying the spirit of unconditional love and loyalty that dogs bring into our lives.

Drawing Roxy was a truly rewarding experience. Her expressive, hang-dog demeanor—equal parts soulful and playful—was a joy to bring to life. I paid close attention to the texture of her fur, capturing the subtle variations in its short, glossy coat. Every stroke was an opportunity to highlight her quirky charm and the warmth she exudes. The piece serves as a tribute to her unique personality and the special bond she shares with those around her.

The original artwork took over 38 hours to complete and is hand drawn in lightfast coloured pencils (Faber Castell Polychromos) on artist quality paper (Strathmore 300 Bristol) so it will last a lifetime.
